What BhuView is

BhuView is a technology product. The maps and revenue data are publicly available; BhuView lines them up with satellite imagery so they are easier to understand. Everything shown is indicative, for general knowledge only. BhuView does not endorse or warrant any data, and it must not be used for any official or legal purpose.

What we collect

• If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture, as shared by Google. We do not get your Google password or access to anything else in your Google account.
• Your map access: which villages you have unlocked, your free-map balance, and who invited you (if you joined through an invite link).
• How the app is used: actions such as opening a village, viewing a khasra, checking a plot or using Fine-tune, with the time, the village and whether you are on a phone or a computer. We use this only to understand and improve BhuView.
• Cookies: one cookie keeps you signed in and one identifies your device anonymously for the usage counts above. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
• Kept only on your device: saved places, recent villages, your language and any Fine-tune alignment you save stay in your browser and are not sent to us.

Plots you draw or upload in “Check my plot” are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not share it with anyone except the services that run BhuView, only as needed to run it.
• We send you a welcome email when you sign up and an email when your plan changes, nothing else. Reply STOP to any of them and we won't email you again.

How long we keep it

Account details and map access are kept while your account exists. Usage records are kept for up to 2 years and then deleted or reduced to totals that do not identify anyone.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time. To have your account and its data deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, email … from the address you signed in with. We will act on it within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
